Umber Pleat

Umber Pleat makes texture the headline. Its broad pleated shade creates a rhythmic pattern of folds, giving the lamp visual depth before it is even switched on. Rich brown tones reinforce that dimensional effect, shifting subtly between lighter ridges and deeper recessed sections.

Below, the dark sculptural base provides a grounded counterpoint to the wider shade. Its rounded profile keeps the silhouette visually balanced while allowing the pleating above to remain the defining feature. Together, these elements create a lamp that feels decorative without becoming overly elaborate.

Place Umber Pleat on a bedside table, console, sideboard, desk, or reading corner where both its shape and illumination can contribute to the arrangement. The earthy palette coordinates naturally with timber surfaces, neutral upholstery, textured fabrics, ceramics, and darker decorative accents.

When illuminated, the shade helps create a softer atmosphere suited to relaxed interior settings. During daylight hours, its repeated folds continue to contribute pattern and dimension without relying on printed motifs.

Umber Pleat works especially well where a room needs another layer of texture rather than another bright color. Its combination of sculptural form, warm coloring, and repeated pleating makes the lamp an expressive yet restrained addition to everyday spaces.
